Salkantay pt. 1

This lake was supposedly where the first Inca emerged to later found the city of Cuzco.  It represents sacred ground for the Inca, and besides the extraordinary stories, it’s quite beautiful and a wonderful start to the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu.
