One of the things you can do when in Potosi is tour one of the mines and get an insight into the working conditions you get when you’re underground. It really lends perspective.

Whoa crazy! I just watched the movie about the 22 chilean miners that were trapped underground. I can’t believe you went down there, I would have been way too scared.

Of course they waited until we were all out of the mine to elaborate on just how structurally unsound it was. Truly an amazing experience though.
