Ayacucho in the Rain

I took this photo as far up a mountain I dared climb without enough water.  It was one of those days that I was looking for something to do, so instead of staying within the city of Ayacucho, I decided to leave and explore the city of Quinoa.  Outside of it stands a large white monument that commemorates the independence battle that took place there between the Peruvians and the Spanish.  There are many amazing photos from this part of the trip, but this one takes the cake.
