The biggest outdoor market in all of Peru can be found in Huancayo, a city inland by a whopping 3000 meter climb inland. Here I stayed at my favourite hostel in all of Peru; “Casa de la Abuela,” literally “House of the Grandmother.” Most compassionate and happy people I’ve ever met, socially minded and nice, they helped myself and three other Swiss people on our way.
