Miraflores

I’ve finally gotten around to downloading all of my photos from my USB drive, so I’ll be uploading one per day with a short description or story.  

First day of the trip, a little overwhelmed by the sheer concept of being alone on a whole other continent by myself.  My flight had been cancelled, and that saw me on a flight the day before, and I thought I’d ironed everything out with the front desk at the hostel.  Turns out I was still reserved for the day afterwards, and I didn’t have a taxi arranged.  Enter two Canadian girls from Calgary (I think), who were on the same flight and had arranged to go to the same hostel.  We ended up spending the next bunch of days together in the wonderful Peruvian capital, our first adventure being going swimming in the rather cold Pacific Ocean in the district of Miraflores.
